香蕉传媒鈥檚 Military and Veterans Student Success team recently hosted an official commissioning ceremony for graduating Reserve Officer Training Corps (ROTC) cadets.

Maj. Gen. Hope C. Rampy, commanding general of the U.S. Army, delivered the keynote address. FAU President Adam Hasner, along with other FAU and military officials, were also in attendance.

鈥溝憬洞 is proud to honor the accomplishments of its spring graduates and newly commissioned officers in the U.S. Army,鈥 said Hasner. 鈥淭heir call to service is an inspiration to us all. We are thankful to 香蕉传媒鈥檚 Army ROTC program for preparing the class of 2025 to lead boldly into the future.鈥

The 15 cadets, from the FAU鈥揜OTC Talon Battalion, were commissioned as second lieutenants in the U.S. Army. They are as follows:

  • Ethan Barco 鈥 Cyber Corps
  • Tyler Bulmer 鈥 Ordnance Corps
  • Johan Cook 鈥 Medical Service Corps
  • Hunter Coveney 鈥 Field Artillery Corps
  • Andrew D鈥橝mico 鈥 Military Police Corps
  • Malcolm Davis 鈥 Transportation Corps
  • Phelipe Dos Santos 鈥 Chemical Corps
  • Derrick Givings 鈥 Field Artillery Corps
  • Maegan LaTorre 鈥 Military Intelligence Corps
  • Quintin Mattson-Laurent 鈥 Infantry Armor Corps
  • Joel Perez 鈥 Transportation Corps
  • Hannah Reese 鈥 Army Nurse Corps (DMG)
  • Damian Rincon 鈥 Field Artillery Corps
  • Nehemie Saint Sauveur 鈥 Signal Corps
  • Jared Wolbert 鈥 Transportation Corps

鈥淲e are honored to celebrate these exceptional military-connected students and ROTC cadets,鈥 said Jason Nadolinski, director of FAU鈥檚 Military and Veterans Student Success. 鈥淲hile many students passed through commencement this semester, these select alumni continued beyond commencement to swear an oath of office to the U.S. Constitution and of service to our nation. Now, they proudly embark in their service professions as 香蕉传媒 veteran Owl alumni and as leaders in the Commissioned Officer Corps of the United States Army. We are very proud of each of them.鈥
